Appalachian Project in Kentucky

Here is a wonderful way to make a difference! A Milton mother began this project several years ago. Some other moms in Milton, Eva Buckingham and Amy Fahey, are gathering items to bring to her for The Appalachian Project in Kentucky. Read below. Please help if you can. And, please forward to your friends and neighbors.
Thanks!

Hi,
I usually wouldn't ask but since the season is changing and many of us are cleaning out closets and donating anyway- this is a wonderful cause. We sponsored a child this past christmas and the people that put this project together are wonderful and the
recipients are needful! If you have anything- I can pick it up from you. I will then take any donations to Eva's home.
Thanks so much,
Amy Fahey

Exciting News: King’s Ridge Christian School’s middle and high school students are leading a service project to fill a Uhaul and take it to Kentucky!

We need used clothing (Sorted in white kitchen bags labeled “girl’s winter” girl’s summer” men’s winter” “men’s Summer” etc.)
peanut butter & Jelly, canned foods, toiletries and furniture. Also they need used baseball equipment for the baseball league the Center wants to start in the Spring.

Please bring any items to Eva’s basement before March 26th or take directly to King’s Ridge the day of loading, March 27th.

We also need 3 SUVs to pick up clothing donations from Perimeter School Consignment Sale on Sat. March 1st @ 3:45 and take them to Eva’s basement.

We could use help sorting those donations either Wednesday morning 3/19 or Thursday evening 3/20 or Monday morning 3-24.

Then we will need many vehicles to load up the clothing bags and drop them off at King’s Ridge Christian School on March 27th.

Please call Eva Buckingham at 770 569-4998 or email her.

Thank you for your kind spirit and willingness to help these families!!
